Information System Security Engineer

If you are looking for a career as a Cybersecurity professional and are interested in being an integral part of a modeling and simulation team that focuses on aircraft survivability to ensure our pilots complete their mission and return home safely, then ARA has an opportunity worth considering!  The successful candidate will have a strong passion for the overall mission and understand the team's goals, which will inform priorities and schedule.  Your day-to-day responsibilities will include developing security documentation in support of achieving authority to operate, maintaining risk management plans and user accounts, monitoring networks and user access, performing computer system audits and security updates, and upgrading or replacing system components.  This position augments a larger cybersecurity/IT team, a network of peers and other professionals that share a common mission.  

 

Requirements

     * Must hold an active TS/SCI Clearance

     * Bachelor’s Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, or a related field (for the right candidate, equivalent experience will be considered)

     * Demonstrated knowledge in DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF)

     * Team player with excellent communication skills

     * DoD Directive 8570.01-M IAT Level II certification obtained within 3 months of hiring

 

Desired Qualifications

     * Experience with DoD accreditation processes, reviewing system architectures and providing security assessments, and/or managing and maintaining system compliance

     * DoD Directive 8570.01-M IAT Level II certification or higher
