Data Analyst Program (DOAP) Overview

DOAP is a leading 24-month data and analytics rotation program that recruits high potential individuals from top universities. Throughout the program, DOAP participants will develop a breadth and depth of skills and capabilities required to excel in the workforce through three 8-month rotations. DOAP participants graduate from the program into a full-time role in Business Data Analysis, Business Intelligence Delivery, Data Architecture, Data Engineering, or Data Management and Data Governance. Here are some additional details of the areas Data Office Analyst Program Analysts can immerse in during the rotation. 

 

Business Data Analysis: Work directly with business partners to understand business needs, gather, manipulate, and analyze data to deliver digestible insights that drive business decisions.

 

Business Intelligence Delivery: Develop data reports and visualizations using business intelligence and analytics software.

 

Data Architecture:  Participate in and support the design and delivery, including analysis, research and proof of concept, of reference and solution architecture components that preserve and enhance the value and utility of company data.

 

Data Engineering: Develop basic data activities and pipelines according to design / requirements, writing and refining code while adhering to code quality standards.

 

Data Management and Governance: Support the oversight of the alignment of processes, rules, policies, standards and metrics that ensure the effective use of information throughout its entire lifecycle, from creation to disposition.

 

What you’ll need to succeed

AIG seeks candidates who have excelled in previous work experience, demonstrated outstanding academic and extracurricular achievement, possess strong analytical, quantitative and interpersonal skills, and are enthusiastic about the insurance industry. 

 

We also look for a diverse background of experience, culture and thought. Successful candidates typically have a global perspective and a team-oriented track record.

 

Required

Candidate for Bachelor's degree to be received no later than June 2025 (unofficial transcript required upon application) in a STEM major or with STEM coursework learned in associated majors. Examples of considered majors include, but are not limited to, Computer Science, Data Engineering, Data Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics, Library Science, Geography, or Psychology.

 

Program Start Date

The Early Career Analyst program will start on July 28, 2025. 

 

Locations

Early Career Analyst positions are in-person opportunities and are available in Atlanta, GA. When we work in the office, we experience greater connections with opportunities to collaborate, innovate and learn together.
