IT Support Specialist

Job Summary

Provides technology support and user training on network, computer hardware, software, telecommunications, network interface, other technology equipment, and related computer matters. Acts as an assistant to Desktop and Server Analysts on basic administration functions as needed.   Serves as a general IT specialist supporting other IT departments such as Applications Development, Radio Communications, Network and Infrastructure, and Telecommunications.

Hybrid work from home schedule available, will discuss more if selected for interview.    

Minimum Qualifications

EDUCATION/TRAINING

Associates degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent

 EXPERIENCE

Two (2) years PC repair and hardware/software experience. 

Must demonstrate a thorough knowledge of PC hardware, Windows-based software and peripherals. 

Knowledge of other Operating Systems such as Linux preferred.

Experience supporting mobile devices, Apple IOS preferred.

Must be able to pass BCI, FBI, and UCJIS background check.

Valid Utah driver’s license required. Must be a safe driver with no more than 4 moving violations in the past 3 years. 

Cannot have more than 2 violations of driving under the influence of alcohol, any drug, or the combined influence of any alcohol or any drug within the last 10 years.

This job requires regular and predictable attendance

Pay Rate: $25.144 - 28.942 per hour based upon experience
