Are you a forward-thinking developer who thrives on collaboration, innovation, and creating impactful solutions? Valencia College is looking for a Senior Software Developer & Analyst to join our dynamic Enterprise Application Services team.


In this role, you’ll help lead innovative tech solutions that support our students and employees. 


We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has experience working in higher education—especially with Human Resources and Payroll systems.
  • Is familiar with Banner and PeopleAdmin systems.
  • Strong software development skills in:
    • JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, XML
    • SQL/PLSQL in Oracle
    • PHP, Perl, ColdFusion
    • RESTful APIs and web services
  • Has a solid background in project and change management methodologies.
  • Enjoys mentoring others and leading by example.
  • Communicates effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
  • Loves collaborating and problem-solving in a team environment.

Additional Information:

 

  • This position will operate in a fully remote environment. When possible, the fully remote employee may occasionally be required to work on site with advance notice.
  • Salary: $71,360-$87,779 per year
  • OUT OF STATE APPLICANTS: Please note that you will have to establish and maintain Florida residency within 30 days from your start date if selected for this position.
