What I liked

I really enjoyed the company's culture. All employees, as well as my main internal team, were very inclusive to the interns.

What I wish was different

I wish there were a couple more intern social events that allowed for us to get to meet each other and get closer.

Advice

My advice is to take advantage of company resources. Whether it was intern trainings, meet and greets with employees, or platforms that the company provided to help with the main intern project.

What I liked

The independence you are given as an intern, and the amount of work and projects you are given.

What I wish was different

I wish that the internship had a little more structure. You are given a final internship project, however there could be more structured mini-projects along the way.

Advice

Always be open to accepting new work, projects, and working with other managers.

What I liked

We were given a mentor that we could ask questions to and get a feel of the company and our role on a deeper level. The work was very involved and not just busy work. We were given opportunities to develop strong relationships with our supervisors and other interns.

What I wish was different

Although the work was very relevant and training we got was thorough I would have enjoyed a shadowing program for a day.

Advice

Don't be afraid to ask questions, and if you have time try to look at a problem or process differently than what your manager suggested.

What I liked

The company's driven and inclusive culture, as well as the productivity and longevity of its employees, highlighted its growth and positive atmosphere. Fluid vertical communications among leadership and the ability to work on real projects and presentations. A very positive and fun experience overall.

What I wish was different

Being it was virtual at the time I missed out on in-person events, although the normal program has many of those built-in. To supplement that in a virtual environment we had weekly events online and volunteer activities.

Advice

If you ask to do more, they will give you more. Don't be afraid to say yes to a new project or idea. They want and are looking for your input and experiences.
